It has been a very busy few weeks, between family commitments and not feeling well, I apologize that I have not been able to devote as much time to my stamping business as usual. But the beauty of having my own business is that I can set my own hours and if I need to take a little time off I can. That’s one of the reason I love being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator! As long as I meet my minimum requirements for the quarter I can take off as much time as I need to.
But I am back and have been busy in my stamp room this past week creating projects and videos for the upcoming holiday season, I can’t wait to share them with you! I also spent the entire day with two fellow demonstrators on Saturday planning our upcoming classes showcasing all the great products in the 2016 Holiday Catalog and including some great gift ideas.
Today’s share is a cute little Halloween Treat Box utilizing the Gift Box Punch Board. This tool is amazing! It can make several different sized boxes in both square and rectangle shapes and once you get the hang of it they are so easy to put together. Not only great for holidays treats and small gifts but perfect for wedding favors too!
Enjoy!
Project Dimensions:
Pumpkin Pie cardstock – 8″ x 8″ (this will make a 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ box)
Thick Whisper White cardstock ( 2″ x 5 1/2″ used for the mummy & skeleton)
Whisper White cardstock – small scrap approx. 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ for the tag
Halloween Night Specialty DSP – 2″ x 12″ (I used the striped DSP)

As I always say nothing makes me happier than sharing my love of stamping with you. But I think I have found something has topped that, I absolutely love when you share your love of stamping with me!
Every month I am going to share my customers creations with you, so you can see what other stampers like you are doing! No matter what level stamper you are I would LOVE to see what you are doing and I’m sure everyone would too! I encourage all of you to send me pictures of your creations so I can share them on my blog. I know they will inspire others! I will post on the 15th of the month so please submit your samples to me by the 1oth. They can be cards, scrapbook pages, decor, gift wrap…whaterver you like. Make sure you include the supplies used and please use Stampin’ Up! supplies only. One person each month will be chosen randomly to receive a special gift from me! So grab that camera and let me see what you have been up to!
This month’s beautiful creations come from Mary Ann Thouin and my daughter Sarah Mulligan (design completely by her, no help from me!). Mary Ann used colors, stamps and DSP from the Blooms and Bliss Suite and Sarah made a masculine birthday card for her brother using the Number of Years set, Dapper Denim and Tangerine Tango. Enjoy!
Let’s get ready to celebrate both Halloween and World Card Making Day!
World Card Making Day is October 1st this year and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by getting together with us and create 5 cards that are perfect for a variety of occasions!
And let’s not forget Halloween! You will be making a set of adorable “BOO” boxes using the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series paper, two little treat boxes using the Jar of Haunts set and a treat bag using the set Cookie Cutter Halloween and the coordinating punch!

As summer nears an end, I am trying so hard to hold onto the warm weather, long days, and the delicious fresh fruits and veggies this season offers before winter sets in. Easy technique that gives amazing results. Enjoy!
Card Dimensions:
Pear Pizzazz card base – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
Fruit Stand DSP – Daffodil Delight with Polka Dots – 4″ x 5 1/4″

Before you know it Christmas will be here, time to get started on your Holiday cards! For today’s share I wanted to show what is available for the Holidays in the Annual Catalog. I know we are all excited about the 2016 Holiday Catalog but once it comes out we tend to forget the great sets that are available all year long.
The set I’m going to use today, Joyful Nativity, which was introduced this year and I am also using the Designer Series Paper -This Christmas.
In the video I shared a tip about getting those backings off of dimensionals, I wanted to give a shout out to Peggy Taylor who shared that great tip with me! Thank you Peggy!!! If you have a tip to share let me know and I will pass it along. We can always learn new things from one another.

When you are a new stamper you can get easily overwhelmed with all the stamps, accessories and tools on the market. I decided I wanted to do a series of videos showing how to use the different tools offered by Stampin’ Up! that can help all stampers no matter where you are on your stamping journey.
The first one I did showcases the Aqua Painters. I chose this tool because as you get to know me and my stamping style I am a HUGE fan of watercolor. I use Aqua Painters all the time, instead of explaining how to use them everytime I watercolor I will provide a link in that post so you can watch the video if you choose to.
Many of you seasoned stampers will know how to use the tools, but I may share a tip or two that you didn’t know. So I encourage to take a peek, they are pretty short since I don’t get into card specifics I concentrate on the tool or accessory highlighted on that video.
I won’t be posting separate blog posts each time a new product tutorial is published. If you don’t want to miss any of them please go to my YouTube channel and subscribe. You will be notified each time a new video is available. I hope this series helps you and you have much success in all your creative projects!
