Hello everyone! Today’s share focuses on using regular household bleach to whiten up areas when using a darker cardstock. Every time you use it you never know the effect it will have. In the sample below it doesn’t bleach evenly but almost takes on a look like a globe. To me the lighter parts resemble countries, doesn’t the area under the “HA” and “every” look like Africa? I did go in and add a little Elegant Eggplant to the ribbon and top of the ornament after bleaching. Then for the final touch, a little Wink of Stella over the whole thing, although it is a little hard to see in the picture. Enjoy!
Card Dimensions:
Elegant Eggplant – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″

This is another card that has been super popular on Pinterest and I have had some requests for a video so here it is!
The card uses the sleigh and reindeer from the Santa’s Sleigh Framelits, a greeting from the Oh What Fun set and This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.
As you watch the video, you will see me use the Multi-purpose glue, which is an awesome product but it tends to get everywhere. At the end, in typical Jo fashion, I end up gluing the card to my grid paper. Well there is an easy fix for this, the Silicone Sheet! I have one but it had gone missing, thinking the last time I used it I may have picked it up with papers or an old grid sheet and it now resides in my county landfill. I looked everywhere and it was no where to be found. I did order a new one but at the time I shot the video it hadn’t arrived. If you use this mat under your project, the glue won’t stick. If you happen to get some glue on your project, you can use my other best friend, the Adhesive Remover, to get it right off. I just wanted to go over this since I forgot to mention it in the video. Enjoy !
Card Dimensions:
Cherry Cobbler cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
This Christmas DSP – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Scrap Gold Glimmer Paper for the detailed portion of sleigh – approx.
Scrap Gold Foil for the reindeer and sleigh – approx

Today’s share features the stamp Happy Ornament and of course watercolor! I used the colors Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate. I have been seeing these colors a lot lately so that inspired me to try a color pallette not traditional in Christmas cards. I also used the 1/2″ punch to make the little corners and a splatter technique using Wink of Stella. Enjoy!
Card Dimensions:
Smoky Slate Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″

As you all know October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Here is today’s share in honor of all the women who have battled breast cancer, are currently being treated and the hope that someday a cure will be found.
If you haven’t had your screening yet this year please make sure you call your doctor asap and make that appointment! If you cannot afford an exam please look online as there may be free screenings in your area. This is something so important and I believe very strongly that every woman should have a screening yearly. I just had mine and thank God all is good.
My thoughts and prayers are with any person or any family affected by this disease. God Bless!

Back in August I posted an entry on where I find inspiration. When I am out and about I look at everything, you never know when an idea will hit you. Last Friday night my husband and I were in Walmart and I walked by a Thanksgiving display and loved the colors. They went so well together I took a picture of the pans and the whole shopping trip I had visions of Island Indigo, Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry dancing around in my head. I couldn’t wait until the weekend so I could make some cards using those colors!!
To see original post on finding inspiration [CLICK HERE]
Here are the pans that were on display:
And here are my creations:
Since it was a Thanksgiving display I decided to go with that same theme using the Paisleys & Posies set and the Give Thanks saying from Suite Seasons. Both were made with a resist technique. Tuesday I will have a video tutorial on this technique so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss it!
Like I tell my customers all the time, you all have inspiration inside of you already and you never know when it will hit you. You just need to be ready when it does!

Something I like to do is think outside of the box when it comes to stamps, punches or in this case framelits. While they are fantastic to use for their intended purpose I love the challenge of trying to find a new use for them.
Today’s share uses the Layering Ovals, Snow Friends and Cupcake Cutouts Framelits to create an adorable fall pumpkin! Enjoy!
